About

Arthur Lockman

Howdy! My name is Arthur Lockman. I’m a senior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I study Computer Science and Robotics Engineering, where I am a senior TA in the robotics department. I also work as an intern on the kernel engineering team at Red Hat. As part of my degree, I worked on a research project investigating the viability of using a drone to eliminate land mines. I also worked on a project to help the City of Santa Fe, NM construct an open government data portal for their citizens to use.

In my spare time, I like to work on programming and robotics related side projects that I find enjoyable. I’m also the vice president of Rho Beta Epsilon, the world’s first Robotics Engineering honor society, and serve on the board of directors for GoFAR, a non-profit benefiting robotics teams in Gorham and Falmouth Maine.
